I've used tidel and stereo sound was lovely, good enough for me to get round to plugging in my vinyl deck as I want to hear it and see how close it gets to handling the low and mid ranges.
I went on quite a route of soundbars and denons and trying a v6a in a shop to owning a a2a. I'm still very happy with the sound quality, aside from quite a few annoying bugs it's close to the best avr I've owned. I am however a tight arse so I'm always in the bottom end of the market!

Well I'm trying to limits my AV receiver spending to below a grand, plus purchase a pair of upfiring Atmos speakers such as the Elac Debut A4 mk2. I am limited in my options to 5.
